Scout Groups
Earning a badge is easy at Crex!  Programs have been created to address the requirements necessary to earn Try-Its and Badges for all levels of scouts.

Early Childhood

Introducing young children to the wonders of nature.

A Crex educator reads a story about wildlife and does an activity with young children the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Grantsburg Public Library during the school year, September - May.

During the summer, Crex Meadows Wildlife Area offers kids ages 2-6 and their parents to come to Nature's Little Explorers.  This is a chance to discover nature through stories, songs, hands-on activities, hikes, and crafts. Nature's Little Explorers is a free, no-registration, no obligation program that encourages families to get out and enjoy nature. More information about the 2014 Little Explores group will be availiable soon.

Discovery Pack
This self-guided pack will lead you, your friends and family on a hands-on discovery of the amazing wildlife, plants, water, geological features, and cultural history of Crex Meadows Wildlife Area!

Crex Meadows Workbook
Visit the Education Center to pick-up a Crex Meadows Activity Booklet filled with interesting facts and pictures about the wildlife, plants, and mushrooms of Crex.  Includes coloring pages and crossword puzzles.
