Sunday October 7th, 2007

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

at the Crex Meadows Wildlife Education

and Visitor Center

 

 

Free Bus Tours: Buses leave from the Education Center at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm for a 90 minute tour of Crex.

 

Special Tours:  An extra long bus tour leaving at 10 am for a three hour tour and a one hour, sunrise tour for sandhill crane viewing leaving at 7 am.  Both tours leave from the Education Center.

 

Food:  The Friends of Crex will sell brats, burgers, and snacks throughout the day

 

Talks/Programs/Demonstrations:

·                   Wild Edible Plants

·                   Outdoor Skills Events (archery, tomahawk throwing)

·                   Wildlife Activities Room

·                   Wildlife Ecology and Habitat Management

·                   Birds in Action

·                   Wild Ricing Demonstration
