The Second annual Crex Meadows Nature Photography Contest results are in. Judging was open to public ballot. Three points were given for a first place vote, two for second, and one for third. All points were tallied after voting closed at noon on August 1st. This year's theme was THE SEASONS OF CREX. Categories included Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, and a 5th category, Artistic, which was open to interpretation. The top 3 photos from each of the season categories will be used in the 2010 Seasons of Crex calendar, and the winner of the Artistic category will be used fro the cover art. First Place winners in each category will also have their photo mounted on a plaque which will be displayed at the Visitor Center for 1 year, then given to the photographer.
