Birding Updates

BIRDING UPDATE:  November 28 - December 4

by John Menge

Winter is upon us.  Birding is slow. Northern Shrikes, Rough-legged Hawks and Bald Eagles are common especially around deer carcases.   Other people have reported seeing Snowy Owls on the Wildlife Area, near the Pumphouse and near Upper North Fork Flowage.
